That's the question Origin hopes you'll ask when you talk to your spouse about dropping six grand on a new gaming rig. Between its pair of EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition twins and the new Intel Broadwell-E Core i7-6950X processor, there is nothing the Origin Millennium can't handle – and on the best of the best displays at that. While the Titan Virtual Force is neither tastefully designed nor particularly subtle, it's glitzy and self-indulgent, illuminating a green ooze reminiscent of the Manhattan sewers (cowabunga!). At the same time, of course, Overclockers was less concerned about making a fashion statement and more obsessed with crafting one of the most capable pre-built computers money can buy. Complete with a 4K-capable GTX 980 Ti, an overclockable Intel 6600K and 8GB of RAM at the entry level, the Titan Virtual Force serves as an excellent shortcut to buttery smooth VR, or UltraHD, gaming on the high end.

Though you might mistake it for a Rubik’s Cube at first glance, the HP Omen X’s quirky design is all part of its charm. Don’t confuse eccentric casing with limited upgradeability, however, as the HP Omen X is more than just a pretty face. Complete with three chambers for components, including one with four hard drive bays, this desktop leaves plenty of room for expansion later down the line. Upgrades can be performed nearly without tools altogether, requiring not much more than a basic Allen wrench to lift up the panel. Perhaps the most practical aspect of the Omen X, though, is its ability to change the color of its lighting based on which components are sweating the most.

The HP Pavilion x2 might be a little tike of a 2-in-1 laptop, but for media and basic computing tasks, it's a stellar Windows 10 device, thanks to its voluminous set of stereo speakers and absurd battery life of 7 hours and 34 minutes, according to our PCMark 8 test.

For less than a grand, you could get a MacBook Air, complete with a sub-1080p screen and a Broadwell processor or you could buy a Samsung Notebook 7 Spin. A 2-in-1 laptop with an HDR-enabled, Full HD touchscreen, the Spin boasts both a discrete Nvidia graphics chip and one of the latest Intel CPUs.
Considering the sheer horsepower you can exert from this thing and – we can't stress this enough – an HDR screen, the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin is perfect for the classroom or the dorm. Sure, it uses an old-school hard drive and a standard-def webcam, but at the same time, but few concessions are made to keep the price down and its value up.

Corsair K95 RGB Platinum
Corsair arguably put RGB keyboards on the map, and now its most premium option yet, the K95 RGB Platinum, takes things to an inevitable lattermost with an integrated light bar. Design
At its core, the K95 RGB Platinum shares relatively the same shape, diamond and aluminum build as its predecessor, but there are key differences.
The most unveiled transpiration is the fact that the Platinum is much narrower, thanks to wearing the number of macro keys from 18 to a mere six. Some might not like the reduction, but let’s be real, you’ll unquestionably be worldly-wise to reach all the macro keys when you just have a single post of them.
Users will moreover be worldly-wise to program up to three sets of macros all stored on the keyboard’s own 8MB of seated memory rather than relying on Corsair’s software. However, this keyboard still kills it when it comes to shortcut buttons. You have a volume wheel, media controls, lighting toggles and gaming modes all within easy reach. Despite the cheaper, $179 (£159, AU$279) Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum, we prefer the simpler setup of Corsair’s flagship.
Everything in its place
The Corsair K95 RBG Platinum comes with possibly one of the weightier wrist rests overly bundled with a keyboard. Made with the same military-grade aluminum as the peripheral itself, the wrist rest offers plenty of support.
Meanwhile, a reversible and magnetic rubber pad offers a smooth micro-finish on one side and a rougher texture on the other. Unfortunately, this wrist rest moreover hands attracts dust, crumbs, oils and all manner of detritus – so, it requires scrutinizingly unvarying cleaning.
Corsair has moreover widow an “X” wattle of two-cable channels molded into the underside of the keyboard. Interestingly, they’re not made for routing the peripheral’s own cable, but keeping your headset wire (or anything plugged into the defended USB passthrough) out of the way.
Lighting, of course, has been upgraded significantly with a new 19-zone light bar that runs withal the top of the peripheral’s frame. It’s a gorgeous, if superfluous, touch – we’re mostly impressed with the way colors wash wideness Corsair’s transparent logo.
Speed king
The K95 RGB Platinum follows in the footsteps of Corsair's K70 RGB Rapidfire keyboard in its focus on speed. Featuring Cherry's new, linear MX Speed switches, the keys are highly responsive and take just a light printing to actuate.
In fact, the switches propel with just 1.2mm of movement and 45g of force.
In other words, the keys marrow out faster and require just a fraction of the pressure, making them well suited for twitch shooters or any game that requires fast reflexes. They take a bit of getting used to for regular typing, but honestly, this is a keyboard that was made for gaming first.
CUE the pain
Corsair’s ramified software has unchangingly been a pain point for us, but it’s gotten largest over the years. Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) now offers plenty of templates to have colors pulse, wave and rain wideness the keys.

Even though it feels a little less special with only six macro keys, no other keyboard matches it with a swish all metal build quality, handy shortcut buttons or disco lighting. If you can stomach the price and ramified software, the Corsair K95 RGB Platinum is well worth its premium price.

Beasts of No Nation
As Netflix's first original movie, Beasts of No Nation had a lot to prove. The VOD scene had traditionally been associated with low upkeep indies and D-grade horror films, but with Beasts of No Nation, Netflix managed to convince people that upper quality (dare I say, Oscar-calibre) films could be streamed at home and shown in theatres at the same time. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (True Detective season 1), Beasts follows the loss of a child soldier's innocence as he's forced to do unspeakable things. The mucosa hits like a sledgehammer, never shying yonder from the brutality and horror experienced by this young boy (played masterfully by newcomer Abraham Attah). Equally powerful is Idris Elba's portrayal as the boy's remorseless and despicable commander. You know what they say: woebegone spectacle is still comedy! One of the most mannerly and purely enjoyable films that Marvel has made to date, Ant-Man burrows its way into our hearts thanks to its light-hearted tone, likeable notation and comedic acumen. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is an ex-con that just wants to do right by his daughter, so when the opportunity calls for him to use his thieving skills for good, he goes for it. Surpassing long, Lang finds himself teaming up with genius creator Hank Pym (Michael Douglass) and Pym's daughter Hope (Evangeline Lilly) to wilt Ant-Man, a superhero that can shrink to microscopic sizes. Fast, funny and full of heart, Ant-Man leaves a very big impression for someone so small.
